The Marathon Stars Blogathon is Here! — Day One Recap

I can hardly remember a time when I’ve been so thrilled about the arrival of a blogathon! I’ve had such a wonderful time discovering the work of the incredible Pier Angeli, and I really hope that all of our participants have had as much fun as I have watching movies starring the actor or actress of their choice. If you need a reminder, I’ll be accepting all of the entries submitted today, the first day of this blogathon. Tomorrow, the 15th, all entries completed at that time will be submitted to the amazing Crystal of In the Good Old Days of Classic Hollywood, while on the 16th, the final day of The Marathon Stars Blogathon, the lovely Virginie of The Wonderful World of Cinema will be wrangling the remaining posts! If you’ve finished your entry today, please comment on this post with a link to your article, and I’ll add it to the recap! I can’t wait to read all of your fabulous entries, and you can check out what’s been submitted so far below!

My awesome co-host, Virginie of The Wonderful World of Cinema, discovers the wide range of Tallulah Bankhead’s work.

Andrew of The Stop Button looks into the filmography of Luise Rainer, the very first back-to-back Oscar winner.

Joey of Wolffian Classic Movies Digest tells us about the must-see films of Rosalind Russell.

    1. I’m a big Luise Rainer fan, and it looks like you’ve reviewed some movies even I haven’t seen, so I’m very excited to read your article! Thanks for participating! 😊
